A celebration of love, yoga, friendship and community. A fundraiser for the Imagine Yoga Project, sponsoring low income members of the community to find the healing and healthy shift that yoga brings. Celebrate the beginning of Autumn with us at the beautiful Lyons Farmette! This is our last farm dinner of the season. We’ll start with cooking demo based on our menu featuring fall harvest stars like local winter squash and apples. Then we’ll enjoy dinner and dessert in the meadow by the campfire while being serenaded by David Leonard’s beautiful guitar playing.

August 26th, 6pm- Eat Local! Week Farm to Table Dinner at Ollin Farms- A Slow Food Boulder County Benefit
Kick off Eat Local! Week in style at the beautiful Ollin Farm in Longmont. In addition to being a delightful and delicious evening, this event also benefited Slow Food Boulder County- making it doubly exciting to attend. As much of the menu as possible was sourced from Ollin itself with other local producers highlighted. Everything was organic! See the menu and photos of our farm dinner here.

Learn how to quick pickle and pickle by fermentation. We’ll use a variety of locally harvested veggies such as onions, watermelon radishes, scarlet turnips, and beets from Abbondanza and Red Wagon organic farms. Both types of pickles make beautiful condiments to add flavor and flair to your dishes. Use fermented pickles to keep your veggies longer!
Class is $15/ Slow Food member, $20/ non-member. Includes hands-on and demos.
Bring your own jar (pint or smaller mason or other clean jar) or bring $1 and get a mason jar to take some pickles home. Please RSVP to info@backtobasicskitchen.com by January 14th.
